Low-cost vaccine clinics and affordable spay and neuter clinics are held weekly. Appointments can be made online for wellness appointments through Remedy: Your Community Vet.

Overview

We support humane, community-driven solutions for outdoor cats through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR) efforts and resources for caregivers. Our program helps reduce overpopulation while supporting the well-being of cats and the neighborhoods they live in.

Who It Serves

Residents and caretakers helping manage community cat colonies or outdoor cats.

How to Access

We require community cat caregivers and other individuals to work with one of our TNR partners. We then provide TNR surgeries to these partners and the cats in their program. Please view our TNR Resource List to connect with one of our partners.

How to Support

Join our Neighborhood Ambassador Program! This is a network of local individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and who seek to assist others who are experiencing hardship in their communities.

Financial donations help fund spay/neuter surgeries and supplies.

Life is full of situations beyond our control, and many pet owners have to make the difficult decision to re-home their pets because of it. Finding a new home for a beloved pet can be difficult, so we’ve partnered with Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet to highlight animals in our community that are in need of a home.

Who It Serves

Pet owners who can no longer care for their pet and want to rehome them responsibly.

How to Access

Step one is to submit your pet through Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet. Once in their program, your pet will show on the Community Adoptables page of our website.

How to Support

You can support peer-to-peer adoptions by adopting or sharing listings to help connect pets with new families and reduce shelter intake.

Overview

At Atlanta Humane, we believe that pets are family. This belief drives us to create programs like our new Pets in Crisis Support Program, dedicated to ensuring that families in crisis can stay together, even when the unthinkable happens, by providing temporary housing and care for up to 90 days.

Who It Serves

Families who are facing the crisis of housing instability, domestic violence, or a health emergency.

How to Access

If you need temporary care for your pet, please complete this application for the Pets in Crisis Support Program.
