Sheltering the Defenseless

Our Shelter Medicine Team is one of the first stops for every animal who comes through our doors. They provide these animals with a head-to-toe exam and specialized medical care as needed. Last year, they treated 749 animals who were suffering from illness or disease.

About Bonnie

It didn’t take long for us to realize that little Bonnie had a big problem.

She had trouble bending her back legs, and that made it difficult for her to stand up and get started walking. Once she got started, though, there was no stopping her!

Bonnie’s condition required additional medical care throughout her life, and we ensured she felt comfortable and safe in a loving foster home while finding her forever family.
