
Cal Morgan has dedicated his career to nonprofit leadership, with decades of service in animal welfare and community organizations. Since 2014, he has served as President & CEO of the Atlanta Humane Society, where he has grown fundraising by over 30% annually and spearheaded initiatives that strengthened animal welfare efforts across the Southeast. Before that, he led the Michigan Humane Society for 13 years, doubling its budget and expanding programs that impacted more than 100,000 animals each year. His career also includes leadership roles with United Way and the American Cancer Society, where he oversaw regional operations and national projects.
In addition to his executive work, Cal has served on numerous boards, including as Chairman of The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement and as a director for Pets Across America. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Oakland University, completed nonprofit management studies at Emory University, and has pursued advanced leadership training at Harvard Business School and the U.S. Army War College.
