Adoption

2025 Impact Report

Last year, your compassion moved more than animals. It moved an entire community. From emergency rescues to joyful adoptions, your support in 2025 helped make neighborhoods near and far safer, more compassionate places for animals and the people who love them. With you by our side, we defended the defenseless, responded to crisis, and kept families whole.

Food & Supplies

We provided 1,100,000 meals to 51,097 animals in an effort to help keep pets healthy, cared for, and at home. We also supplied resources to 106 community partners, including animal welfare partners and shelters across Georgia, expanding access to food and essential supplies across our community.

What’s Ahead in 2026

In 2026, with your continued support, Atlanta Humane Society will expand access to affordable veterinary care, increase temporary housing options for pets in crisis, and strengthen our impact across Georgia. Because of you, more animals and families will receive the care and compassion they deserve and together, we can reach even more in the year ahead.
