About the Arthur M. Blank Family Animal Center

About the Arthur M. Blank Family Animal Center

Just a little less than one hundred years ago, on an old farm located at the corner of 10th Street and Howell Mill Road, a group of people who cared about animals just like you do committed to lead with compassion and to do everything in their power to help animals in the city of Atlanta.

It strikes me that here we are almost one hundred years later: a new group of people with that same commitment and passion to help animals. In a little less than a year, we’ll be standing on another piece of ground in the same community and with the same compassion and resolve they had to make life better for animals in our city, and that timeless commitment truly speaks to the legacy of this organization.

While we are leaving our historic West Midtown location at 10th and Howell Mill, we are using the funds from the sale of that property to reinvest back into the city of Atlanta on behalf of the thousands of animals who need our help. We have purchased 5 acres of land on the west side of the city on Perry Boulevard, which is less than fifteen minutes from our current West Midtown location.

The future of animal welfare in Atlanta begins with you, and I invite you to join us in making this new facility a reality as part of our Building Home, Health, and Hope Campaign. Your gift will make a difference in the lives of Atlanta’s animals for years to come.
