We want to give you an update on Pudge, one of the 29 dogs rescued from neglect in Toccoa, Ga.
All 29 dogs were scared and urine-stained, and they had been living exposed to the elements in outdoor sheds.
After bringing the dogs into our care, Pudge immediately stole our hearts with his sweet nature. Despite the neglectful conditions we pulled him from, he quickly warmed up to our staff and knew we were here to help.
Like many of the dogs rescued that day, Pudge had a skin issue that needed immediate attention from our expert Shelter Medicine Team. But with soothing baths, medication, and good nutrition from our friends at Purina, we were able to help his skin heal.
And the best news? Pudge found the perfect forever family to show him what true love is all about!
