When we first met Gisele, she was fighting for her life.
Suffering from deadly parvovirus, this puppy was weak and barely holding on. Gisele made it to the Atlanta Humane Society in the nick of time.
But many other animals are counting on the compassion and generosity of people like you. With your help, we can save other animals like Gisele — and rescue animals who are neglected and abused.
This is a summer emergency, and we need your help! We must raise $68,000 by June 30 to rescue animals from cruelty and neglect and provide much-needed resources to our community’s pets.
Through the support of animal lovers like you, Atlanta Humane works to stop abuse and rescue animals who are mistreated. Our specialized staff provides medical care, support, and love to dogs and cats until they find their forever home.
Fortunately, Gisele was able to receive the intensive care she needed to beat parvovirus. This critical medical care came just in time, and slowly, Gisele began to get better. After a long road to recovery, she grew stronger, and was able to find a new family to love and care for her.
