We received an urgent call from a local animal control facility about a puppy in need, and we knew we had to help. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that little Asuna needed surgery.
While we don’t know exactly what caused her injury, her fracture caused her a lot of pain and discomfort. After examining her x-rays, our Shelter Medicine Team determined that Asuna would need an orthopedic specialist to save her leg.
