Arabella arrived at the Atlanta Humane Society from an overcrowded local shelter, and it was obvious something was wrong. She was exhibiting classic signs of hydrocephalus, which meant there was fluid on her brain, and she was suffering from a life-threatening infection.
Antibiotics were immediately administered to help tiny Arabella fight the infection, and she was monitored closely for the next few days. She started to perk up and gain her appetite back within just a few days, and although her condition will be life-long, we believe she’s out of the woods and has beat the infection that was threatening her life.
Thanks to the support of loyal friends like you, we were able to provide Arabella the expert medical care she needed.
Please donate now to support lifesaving work, and you can help save hundreds of other animals just like Arabella.
