Earlier today, our Animal Protection Unit arrived at a residence in south Georgia where 45 dogs are living outside in muddy pens.

They’ve had to face the elements head-on each day, including breathing and living in the recent heatwave we’ve been experiencing, so we’re unsure of what medical conditions they’re facing, but our medical team is on-site evaluating them right now.

Your donation today will help support our Animal Protection Unit as they rescue and care for these dogs, and your donation will be doubled by Charles and Virginia Bagley at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta to help end animal neglect.

Your support is urgently needed. Have your donation matched right now to help care for these dogs.

Our team will be bringing back almost 25 of these dogs tonight. The rest of the dogs will be taken to Augusta Animal Services where they’ll be safe and secure. We’ll return to Augusta Animal Services early next week to bring more of these dogs into our care and we’ll be working with them to help secure placement for the others.  Your continued support will ensure our Animal Protection Unit is there when cruelty, neglect, and disaster arise. When you begin a recurring monthly donation today, your donation will not only support their efforts caring for these dogs and the other animals who will need us in the future, but your first gift will be doubled.
