We’re honored to announce that the Atlanta Humane Society has been awarded a generous $175,000 grant from The Rachael Ray Foundation! This incredible funding will help transform under-resourced animal shelters across Georgia, providing safer, more comfortable environments for pets in need of forever homes.
Chattooga County
Thanks to The Rachael Ray Foundation’s support, they received new HVAC systems and a full epoxy reseal of the floors. These upgrades will provide a healthier environment for the animals, ensure consistent climate control year-round, and reduce the risk of disease outbreaks.

Renegade Paws Rescue
Renegade Paws Rescue has undergone essential roof repairs that are already making a big difference. Previously, leaks from the aging roof caused flooding in several kennels during rain, creating challenges for the shelter. With the new roof and repairs, they can now provide a safer and more reliable environment for the animals in their care.
