It wasn’t a typical holiday weekend for our Animal Protection Unit.
Our team traveled to South Georgia to assist law enforcement with an emergency puppy mill rescue of more than 120 Malteses, Boston terriers, Pomeranians, Shih Tzus, and Dachshunds whose pure purpose was profit and breeding.
These innocent animals were found living in heartbreaking conditions: confined to wire cages, living each minute out in the freezing cold, their matted fur soaked in urine and feces, and deprived of basic veterinary care.
They’ve suffered enough. Now, they’re counting on you to help them heal and find the loving homes they deserve.

This is an ongoing case, and we are limited on what details we can share, but we can tell you this: 32 of these dogs are now safe in our care. Our Animal Protection Unit worked long hours to ensure each of the dogs received care on site and were able to be placed with one of the incredible organizations stepping up to ensure each one of these animals gets the attention they deserve.
