Pets older than 7 years require bloodwork and an IV catheter during the procedure. This is not something Remedy is able to offer at this time, so please contact your primary care veterinarian.

Is your pet a Doberman Pinscher?(Required)

Yes

Doberman Pinschers MUST have proof of a negative Von Willebrand’s test in order to have spay/neuter surgery at Remedy. This is a very common bleeding disorder in the breed. The actual test result needs to be emailed to us prior to the day of surgery. We also offer the test at our clinic for $145. Please call 404-875-6420 or email [email protected] to book.

We recommend rescheduling for when your pet is well. Surgery is rough on the body and any illness can make recovery longer or increase post-op complications.
