We send emails to organizations within the state of Georgia periodically about open grants, best practices, and data collection and reports.

Want to become a Statewide Partner?

Our Statewide Partners have access to grant funding that support canine projects within organizations in the state of Georgia. The primary purpose of these granting funds is to increase the Live Release Rate for canines in the state of Georgia via sustainable projects, such as capital improvements; however, grant funds may be used for ongoing professional development, education, creation of progressive programs, and/or occasional veterinary assistance.

Each funding request will be reviewed based on the completion of the application form via the link above and the consensus of a committee of Atlanta Humane Society staff members. At this time, funding is limited to canine projects and organizations within the state of Georgia. All projects must be able to demonstrate a direct impact on saving dogs’ lives within one year utilizing organizational-specific data.

The Application for the Transport Vehicle Assistance Grant for Georgia Rescues is Open

The purpose of this grant is to increase the Live Release Rate for canines in the state of Georgia. The grant will provide a 2024 Ford Transit van to be used for transporting dogs to rescue partners or to adoption events. Vehicles will be granted to organizations that have an existing need for transport and an established transport destination network. This grant cycle is for the remaining eight vehicles and will complete this grant program.

For consideration, grant applications must be completed with required attachments by February 29, 2024.
