Our new Marietta location is home to a special partnership with Dogs for Better Lives! Together, we’re bringing their From Shelter to Service Dog program to Marietta, which will give select Atlanta Humane dogs the opportunity to be trained as Service Dogs for people with disabilities.

Through this program, foster volunteers provide temporary homes for dogs while they undergo professional training during the day. In the evenings and on weekends, the dogs relax in a home environment, where fosters help reinforce their training.

Dogs that successfully complete the program are then matched with a client in need.
