If you love reading and animals, you’ll want to be at the shelter this day because we are hosting a meetup for the ATL Silent Book Club!

Important Event Details

No reservation is required to attend this event but we are asking that everyone please bring a donation for the pets from our Amazon Wish List. Everyone who brings a donation (or can show the donation receipt from Amazon) will be entered into a drawing for a special prize!

Parking at the shelter is limited so please plan ahead by carpooling, utilizing public transportation, or taking Uber/Lyft if possible. When our parking lot is full, we will be closing the event.

Please do not park at neighboring businesses and we kindly ask that you avoid parking in areas not marked as official parking spots.

If you arrive to find the parking lot full, there will be a second location for the ATL Silent Book Club nearby – just head around the corner to Elsewhere Brewing Greenhouse. They are joining forces with us so even more people will be able to enjoy the day with fellow readers!

Event Timeline

• 1:00 pm: Arrive and settle
• 1:30 pm-2:30 pm: Silent reading hour
• 2:30-3:30 pm: Time to mingle with the animals and other readers
