Somehow, at only 8 months old, little Wilson found himself limping down the street all alone, looking for a scrap of food to eat or a kind soul to help him. Someone caught a glimpse of this sad puppy and called the local animal control agency who arrived swiftly to pick him up.
When they realized the extent of his injuries, our friends at Fulton County Animal Services reached out and asked for our help caring for Wilson. His limp was pronounced, and his muscles were beginning to atrophy from a lack of using the leg.
Our Shelter Medicine Team went right to work evaluating Wilson’s condition, and x-rays revealed a severe break in his front left leg that needed immediate attention.
After a successful surgery, Wilson is now recovering with the help of his loving forever family.
