If you are approached around the city or someone comes to your door asking if you would like to become an Atlanta Humane Society monthly donor, it is a legitimate activity by our canvassers. We are working with fundraising partner New Canvassing Experience to recruit new monthly donors to save animal lives all year long.
This support is especially needed right now, as Atlanta Humane is providing resources – free pet food, obedience assistance, and low-cost vet care – for pets whose families are having difficulty keeping them so that pets can stay with the families who love them. This is in addition to our regular mission of rescuing homeless animals, caring for them, and finding them loving homes.
While we especially appreciate our ongoing monthly gifts, donors who wish to make a one-time gift or monthly gift online can do so at www.atlantahumane.org/NCE. Our enthusiastic canvassers love animals as much as we do and are really enjoying talking with other animal lovers on our behalf.
