If you are approached by someone who comes to your door asking if you would like to become an Atlanta Humane Society monthly donor wearing items like you see on the individual here, it is a legitimate activity by our canvassers. We are working with our fundraising partner, New Canvassing Experience, to recruit new monthly donors so that we can be there for the animals when they need us the most.
This support is needed to help provide resources for pets whose families are having difficulty keeping them so that pets can stay with the families who love them while we rescue homeless animals, care for them, and find them loving homes.
We especially appreciate our ongoing monthly gifts, and donors who wish to make a one-time or monthly gift online can do so at www.atlantahumane.org/NCE. Our enthusiastic canvassers are an extension of our Atlanta Humane team and they love animals as much as we do and really enjoy talking with other animal lovers on our behalf.
