Lop-eared Skippy is a special dog. He has a heart murmur that leaves him with a life expectancy of only five years! At one year old, Skippy is looking for a loving companion who can give him the best rest of his life.
Skippy’s condition requires some special attention- his heart rate needs to be carefully monitored. He needs someone who can pay attention to his activity, so it’s nice that he’s a good boy on the leash, although this youngster is still learning!
Skippy responds to his name and loves working on tricks like “sit” and “down”… for a treat of course! He’ll probably love to take his new owner to obedience classes so they can keep learning together. He also prefers to be the only dog of the house, but we’re sure he’s all the friend you’ll need!
