The Atlanta Humane Society is dedicated to finding homes for all adoptable pets who come into our care.
Our live release rate* in during our fiscal year 2022 (October 1, 2021 – September 30, 2022) was 98.79%.
We are a no-kill facility who goes to extreme lengths to provide medical care and behavioral training to each of our animals who requires it. We are a limited admissions shelter, and we do not place time limits on animals finding homes. We only humanely euthanize those animals suffering from significant medical or behavioral issues.
