Rose came to the Atlanta Humane Society after being found as a stray and brought to a local animal control facility. One look into her cloudy, soulful brown eyes and we knew she had to come with us.

She quickly stole the hearts of volunteers and staff alike, and we just know that if you give her a chance, this 10-year-old sweetheart will steal your heart too! While we don’t know much about her background, we know that she was used for breeding, and her overbreeding coupled with not being spayed led Rose to battle mammary cancer. Our expert Shelter Medicine Team took great care of her, and now Rose is on the road to recovery.

We’re not sure how it happened, but at some point in her life, Rose became partially paralyzed on the left side of her face, which makes her look like she’s always grinning! We think it gives her lots of character and personality. She loves wearing sweaters, going for walks, and cuddling for hours and hours at a time.
