Because of our community’s support, Lavender is receiving the lifesaving care she needs to heal. Our dedicated Shelter Medicine Team is carefully monitoring her recovery. They’re performing routine wound cleanings, managing her pain, and ensuring she remains as comfortable as possible. We’ve also started her on a specific dietary schedule to help address her malnourishment, and she’s begun the first phase of heartworm treatment.
