We first met Dasher after she had been abandoned in a crate.
Confined and left to starve at Westside Park, Dasher’s ribs, spine, and hip bones were all visible. She lacked both body fat and muscle, and cowered in her kennel when anyone walked by.
Our community of animal lovers stepped up for Dasher immediately after hearing her story and today, we couldn’t be happier to share the positive news. Over the past couple of months, Dasher put on much-needed weight and gained trust in humans again. And now, she’s living the good life in her forever home with an adopter who loves her.
