Meet Chance, a 5-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who has been in our care for more than a year.
This boy is a total sweetheart and, despite his size, would love to be your next lap dog. He loves being petted, having your attention, and meeting new people.
Chance is very energetic, so his ideal family is one that stays active and exercises regularly. He’s very playful and enjoys rolling in the grass, so a big yard with lots of space to run in would be great for him. He also likes to share his toys with the people he loves, so playtime is always a blast!
After he gets his energy out, Chance is very chill at home. He enjoys nice, long naps and is considered a champion cuddler by all who have been lucky enough to snuggle up to him.
Chance is housebroken, mild-mannered, and great on car rides. He loves going on walks but doesn’t like other dogs, especially when he’s on a leash. Because of his size and high energy levels, he should not live with cats or small children.
Chance qualifies for our Foster First Program, which means that you can foster him for 14 days prior to adopting to ensure that you’re a perfect match for one another.
