Right away, we knew something wasn’t right with little Breeze. Both of his front paws were contorted, and every step made him whimper in pain. He wanted so badly to run around like a normal puppy should, but he just couldn’t.
After running some diagnostics, our Shelter Medicine Team determined that Breeze’s condition was due to significant nutritional deficiencies, and they started him on a diet of yummy Purina food, which is formulated to help puppies grow big and strong.
We found a loving foster home for Breeze where he could grow, heal, and learn what love is.
With just a few weeks of love and proper nutrition, Breeze’s paws began to gain strength, and he started to romp and play just like a healthy puppy should.
