Late last week, our Animal Protection Unit was deployed to a cruelty case in south Georgia, where a large number of dogs were found living in deplorable, neglectful conditions. Our team acted swiftly to examine and remove 33 of the dogs from the location and bring them back to safety.
The dogs range in age from day-old puppies to 6-year-old adult dogs, and the breeds vary widely but include pit bulls, Yorkshire Terriers, Golden Retriever mixes, and more. Many are scared and under socialized, and others are facing debilitating medical conditions.
This is an active and ongoing criminal case, and our team is working diligently with the Police Chief to ensure those responsible for this senseless cruelty are held accountable. Your support is urgently needed now to provide medical care and support to these 33 dogs who desperately needed to be rescued.
