Thanks to your incredible kindness, this holiday season will be much happier for a sweet puppy named Dabble (pictured).

He came to Atlanta Humane Society unable to put any weight on his left front leg. Every step was a painful struggle.

Our Shelter Medicine Team soon found the cause: a rare, crippling bone deformity.

After a thorough exam, AHS Veterinarians made the decision to remove the leg, which would eliminate Dabble’s pain and dramatically increase his quality of life.

During his recovery, Dabble stayed in one of AHS’s foster homes, receiving the gentle, loving care he needed to fully heal. Day by day he grew stronger, embracing life on three legs. Soon, he was healthy enough to be put up for adoption. It didn’t take long for a family to see how special he was.

Now, thanks to our generous friends including you, Dabble is running and playing like never before with his forever family. It’s everything this pup wanted, and just in time for the holidays.

But so many other animals in our community are still hurting and at risk.

As the winter months approach, far too many cats and dogs are abandoned on the streets or left outside in the cold — innocent creatures neglected by humans who promised to love them. Because of this, our resources are stretched to the limit.

Please, won’t you help come to their rescue by joining in our 2018 Holiday Drive to Save Lives today?

You can make a lifesaving difference:

  • $50 can provide emergency rescue for animals suffering from inhumane situations.
  • $100 can provide lifesaving vaccinations and medical care.
  • $250 can provide safe shelter for cats, dogs, kittens and puppies.

A gift of any amount will help save animals’ lives!

Please . . . give hope to homeless and abused animals. When you contribute to our 2018 Holiday Drive to Save Lives by December 31, you’ll help save animals from cruelty and suffering. You’ll also bring great joy to the caring humans who lovingly adopt these furry friends into their families.

Thank you for your generous support that helps give happy endings to thousands of deserving animals like Dabble every year.

Best wishes for the holidays,
