Scabigail was rescued from a cruel and neglectful situation in Murray County, GA. She and 77 other dogs were living in squalor with dirty water, little food, and no access to much-needed medical care.

Sweet Scabigail was covered head to toe in itchy mange. Her skin was bright red and inflamed, her face and neck covered in scabs, and her feet swollen and tender from the infection.
Despite her heartbreaking medical condition, all Scabigail wanted was to be loved. We gave her a soothing medicated bath, antibiotics to fight the infection, and medication to help her hair grow back.
Just 10 days after Scabigail came into our care, she’s beginning to feel like a new dog! Her skin is clearing, and her hair is starting to grow back…all because of your support and the healing love she received from our Shelter Medicine Team and her foster mom.
