Ms. B lived her entire life in a loving home, but when her owner’s health began to decline, so did Ms. B’s. Tragically, her owner passed away and left Ms. B without a family to call her own.
When Ms. B arrived at the Atlanta Humane Society with red, inflamed skin and an infected injury to her ear that was starting to become necrotic, our Shelter Medicine team rushed to administer pain medication, antibiotics, joint supplements, and more. She needs medicated baths three times per week to help her skin condition heal as well.
Having only ever lived with her late owner, this sweet girl is terrified of human interaction and is learning how to be loved again. When her owner passed away, her whole world changed, but we are determined to help her body and heart heal.
Once her medical concerns begin to improve, this sweet, scared girl will live in a loving AHS foster home. There, she’ll be spoiled and treasured until she finds the perfect forever home.
