Today is an exciting day for Danny. A little over a week ago, we were contacted about a sweet shepherd mix at a rural animal control facility that was brought in with an embedded collar who needed medical attention.
We welcomed Danny with open arms, and as soon as he arrived, we rushed him straight into surgery to clip and clean his wound and start him on antibiotics for the infection.
Today, while Danny’s neck is still in the final stages of healing, Danny is free. Free from a heavy chain around his neck, free from neglect, and free to find love at the Atlanta Humane Society.
