We’ve spent the day tirelessly working in conjunction with the Lamar County Sherrif’s Office and the Lamar County District Attorney’s Office to process and remove 44 dogs who have been living in neglect.
The dogs were matted and living in muddy pens outside in their own feces and urine. They had no food and no drinkable water.
The dogs are a mix of breeds including Goldendoodles, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Great Pyrenees.
16 of these dogs are coming into our care today, and your donation right now will help provide them the love they have never had before and the medical care they desperately need.
Dogs are also being taken into the care of Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters and Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta.
The property owners have been taken into custody.
