A Good Samaritan was on his daily commute when he saw something run in front of his car. He slammed on his breaks and realized what he’d seen was a pint-sized kitten!
But this wasn’t just any kitten, this kitten had attitude. She wasn’t sure what to think of her savior, so she did what any reasonable kitten would do after being placed in a strange car… she hid completely underneath his driver’s seat.
The gentleman managed to arrive safely at the Atlanta Humane Society with the sassy little kitten in toe, but she was not excited to leave the new-found comfort of this gentleman’s car.
It took about 30 minutes, but our Shelter Medicine Team managed to remove the tiny kitten from beneath the gentleman’s seat, and we named her Escalade. She hissed a little (okay, it was a lot), but we managed to check her out and make sure that everything was A-okay.
This sassy little bundle of joy is learning that maybe life isn’t so bad when you’re being cuddled in a blanket. Little Escalade will be available for adoption soon!
