  • REMEMBER A LOVED ONE: MEMORIALS AND TAILWAGGER HONORED PROGRAMS

The Atlanta Humane Society has a memorial program for those who wish to remember a deceased individual or pet. Whether it be a pet, friend, or family member, what is a better way to remember a loved one than by supporting the pet memorials fund and donating to the Atlanta Humane Society? Most importantly, however, your donations help the animals of the AHS – by helping us, we can provide them with shelter, food, and medical care. Furthermore, your family and pet memorial gifts ensure that animal welfare and awareness is promoted throughout the city, state, and country.

    MEMORIAL GIFTS THAT KEEP GIVING

Whomever you choose to remember, we will send the family a card of acknowledgment so that they are aware of your generous contribution. Your individual and pet memorials are gifts that truly keep on giving and provide a meaningful, special way to remember your loved ones. Family and pet memorial gifts are listed in the seasonally-published H.E.A.R.T. newsletter. Gifts over $15 in remembrance of a pet or person are listed.

    TAILWAGGER HONORED GIFT

Special giving opportunities are available through our TailWagger Program. This is an honorarium program in celebration of personal happenings and milestones in your life and the lives of your friends. A Tail Wagger Card is mailed to the recipient acknowledging the gift in their honor.

  • CARS 4 PAWS VEHICLE DONATION PROGRAM

The Atlanta Humane Society accepts donations no matter how big or small they are. A great way to benefit the animals at the shelter is to donate a vehicle. We will gladly accept the following vehicles:

    • Cars
    • Boats
    • Motorcycles/Mopeds
    • RV’s/Campers
    • SUVs
    • Trucks
    • Off-Road Vehicles
    • Heavy Equipment Vehicles

Your vehicle does not have to be in running condition. Free towing can be arranged almost anywhere in the United States. The average pickup time is usually 24-48 hours from the time you to talk our partnering company, CARS.

Vehicles donated to the Atlanta Humane Society are tax-deductible and help support our mission of preventing neglect, abuse, cruelty and exploitation of animals and to assure that their interests and well being are fully, effectively, and humanely protected by an aware and caring society.

  • In front of  Atlanta Humane Society’s Carlos and Marguerite Mason Clinic, we have established the Heart Path, an outdoor brick walkway. The Heart Path has and will continue to pave the way for a second chance and rescue of animals. This is an opportunity for you to recognize friends, family and companion pets by adding an inscribed brick to the Heart Path.

    HEART BRICK PATH

The Atlanta Humane Society invites you to be a part of the commitment to this facility dedicated to saving lives. The Heart Path represents the first steps for those seeking help and assistance into our safe haven.

For a $250 donation, your 4″ x 8″ inscribed brick paver will become a permanent part of the Atlanta Humane Society facility. The paver is limited to 2 lines with 32 total characters. Please allow 4-6 weeks for brick to arrive once ordered. Questions? Feel free to call Shemitria Smith, Donor Relations Manager, at 404.974.2876.
