Wildfires are burning across the region, and our Operation Humane team is already in motion. We deployed to Blackshear, where local partners are caring for animals displaced by evacuations and loss.
One shelter has burned to the ground, leaving dozens of animals without a place to return. We are stepping in to help carry that burden… moving animals to safety, delivering critical food supplies, and standing alongside the caregivers doing everything they can to keep up.
Dozens of animals are on their way to our Crisis Response Center right now, and our Atlanta Humane team is quickly preparing for their arrival. Soft beds, plenty of food, and gentle cuddles await them.
