Dear Future Family,
I don’t know your names yet, but I imagine you love walks, laughter, and maybe have a dog who’s already part of the family. I hope you have room in your home for one more, because I’ve been dreaming of you.
I’m Cali. I’m a mix of playful energy and calm affection. Some days I’m ready to explore the neighborhood, my tail wagging as I take in every new scent. Other days, I’m perfectly happy curled beside you, just soaking up the warmth and quiet.
I should tell you, I’m a little shy at first. Meeting new people can feel overwhelming, but if you have a friendly dog, that changes everything. A canine buddy gives me courage, shows me it’s safe, and reminds me how much fun the world can be. With the right four-legged friend, I’ll come out of my shell in no time.
I have a soft spot for toys, especially plush ones I can unstuff (don’t worry, I clean up… sort of). But what I love most is being near you. Sit on the floor or settle into the couch, and I’ll be there in a heartbeat, ready to lean in and enjoy the moment.
What I’m looking for is simple… a family with another dog who can be my partner in play and my comfort when things feel new. A little space to run or regular walks to stretch my legs would be wonderful, too.
If you think we might be right for each other, I’d love to start our story. I’m waiting for the day I can follow you home, knowing I’ve finally found my place.
