2017 was an incredible year!
In 2017 over 10,000 lives were saved, we sheltered hundreds of animals from the hurricanes, deployed disaster response teams to Texas, transferred over 800 animals to less-crowded shelters in the Northeast, and took in over 60 animals from a hoarding case in Alma, GA.
We hosted the first ever Zoo Paws adoption event, transferred in more animals than ever from Fulton and DeKalb County shelters, and Walked for the Animals with thousands of supporters at Atlantic Station.
