I saw an animal on your website that I want to adopt, is the animal still available for adoption?
Thanks for checking out our adoptable animals! Our available animals are updated in real time on our website, and every animal listed is currently available for adoption. If you saw an animal on this page who is no longer listed, it means he/she is no longer available. You do need to come into the shelter, meet the pet and complete the paperwork to adopt. You can find out more and see all our adoptable animals at atlantahumane.org/adopt.

How do I update my billing info for my monthly gift?
If you made an online sustaining donation, you can modify your gift amount, skip a payment, update your billing info, choose your bill date, or discontinue payments from your Gift Service Center. To update your monthly giving billing info, click on the “Members” button found at the top of our homepage or visit atlantahumane.org/Members and login. Once logged in, click on “Gift Service Center” then click on “View Details” to update your billing information. If you need assistance with updating your monthly gift billing information or if you have any questions about your online monthly donation, contact Stacy Guidice at sguidice@atlantahumane.org or 404-974-2840.

How do I cancel my monthly gift?
If you made an online sustaining donation, you can cancel your gift, skip a payment, or edit your gift amount, billing information, and charge date from your Gift Service Center. To cancel your monthly gift, go to our Members Section (https://atlantahumane.org/members) and login. Once logged in, click on “Gift Service Center”. Then click on “View Details” before selecting “Discontinue Payments”. How do I opt out of receiving email from you?
To opt-out or to update your email preferences, visit our Members Section (https://atlantahumane.org/members) and login. Once logged in, click on “My Profile” and then click on “Email Preferences”. To opt out of all email, click on “Change your email preferences”. To select which emails you would like to receive based on interests, click on “Select the topics you are interested in”.

How do I change my email address?
To update your email address on file, visit our Members Section (https://atlantahumane.org/members) and login. Once logged in, click on “My Profile” and then “Edit Your Profile”. Make any changes or updates and then click save.

Do you have low-cost spay/neuter services?
We do have low-cost spay/neuter services, and you can find out more and make an appointment online: atlantahumane.org/services/low-cost-spay-neuter. Please allow several days after making the appointment for confirmation.

I’m interested in volunteering individually, or for my group – how do I do this?
For individuals, we do require new volunteers attend an orientation and then a 16-hour training before you can volunteer in your area of choice, due to liability. You can find out more and contact information to sign up here: atlantahumane.org/volunteer.

I’m not 18 yet; can I still volunteer?
Due to liability reasons, you do have to be 18 to volunteer. There are other ways you can get involved if you are under 18 however: atlantahumane.org/fundraiseforahs. Thanks for your interest in helping the animals!

Do you provide low-cost veterinary services, including vaccinations, shots and check-ups to the public?
Yes, our Vet Center at the Howell Mill campus offers low-cost veterinary services to the general public. You can find out more and make an appointment online: atlantahumane.com/vetcenter.
