Smooches found a Hospice Home

One day, Smooches woke up and her owner was no longer there.

She had known her for her entire life, lived with her and was loved by her for 15 amazing years.

But one day, Smooches woke up to find out that her loving mom had died.

She didn’t quite understand what was going on, but she did understand the loneliness and heartbreak she was feeling.

Her mom’s family couldn’t take her in so they brought her to the Atlanta Humane Society where Smooches could be cared for and supported by friends like you.

When our Shelter Medicine Team evaluated Smooches, we found four large masses on her body. One of them came back malignant.

Our Shelter Medicine Team carefully removed all four masses from her body, but our doctors believe she’ll have more masses continue to pop up on her body.

Now, we’re looking to find this sweet girl a hospice home, and a place where she can rest and live out the rest of her life knowing hat she is loved.
