The number of animals that are released to the Shelter each year because of behavioral problems is a staggering one, but many of these problems can be prevented and/or cured. The AHS Training & Behavior Department is committed to reducing the number of relinquished pets by offering behavioral support to animal owners through phone consultation, email, and our SmartHeart educational brochure series.
