DOES YOUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIEND HAVE BEHAVIOR CHALLENGES?
The number of animals that are released to the Shelter each year because of behavioral problems is a staggering one, but many of these problems can be prevented and/or cured. The AHS Training & Behavior Department is committed to reducing the number of relinquished pets by offering behavioral support to animal owners through phone consultation, email, and our SmartHeart educational brochure series. We stress the importance of proper research before bringing home a new pet, but should behavior issues arise, please contact the Behavior Department by emailing us .
Remember, behavior assistance by email is always free of charge (though donations are gladly accepted). We want to help you solve your pet’s behavior problem.
