Claudine Wilkins started her career as a prosecutor in 1997 and began her own personal injury law firm in 2000. Since 1996, she has assisted in hundreds of animal abuse cases. In 2003, she created an annual conference targeting professionals who are involved in animal cruelty cases and has organized a conference every year since. In 2009, she founded the Animal Law Section of the Georgia Bar, a mainstream section that offers resources to all Georgia attorneys. Her continuing efforts to draft and help pass legislation protecting children and animals resulted in local and state laws She has trained over 3,000 professionals and continues training law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, veterinarians, animal shelter staff and more throughout Georgia on animal law, animal cruelty, dog fighting, dangerous dog laws and dog bite cases.
