Corrin Grace was born in a litter of 6, and her Mom was taken away when the puppies were six weeks old. They lived in a very small pen outside, and she was very thin and couldn’t walk like the others. Her poor feet were turned out, and she was walking on the tops of her paws dragging herself through her siblings to get food and water – when it was available.  Corrin Grace’s foster Mom took her to a doctor who said that she might never walk correctly.  Finally, after spending time rehabilitating her legs…  Corrin Grace was able to walk!  She still limps and has bowed legs, but that hasn’t stopped Corrin Grace in the slightest!

Corrin Grace is a very friendly dog that loves cats, dogs and people. When she was 5-years-old, she was dropped off at Atlanta Humane Society’s Howell Mill campus with her siblings Ranger and Sienna. She was showered with love and attention by the staff and volunteers, and she had a special bed, brown blanket and toys. As happy as she was being around the wonderful folks at Atlanta Humane Society, Corrin Grace just wanted a home and a forever family.

One day, one of the AHS volunteers came to take Corrin Grace for a walk and noticed the sweet pup’s gentle demeanor and overall happy self.  After spending weeks getting to know Corrin Grace, the volunteer decided to play matchmaker and tell her parents about this special dog.  The volunteer and her parents visited the shelter and the volunteer’s Dad, William, said “She’s the one. She’s going to come home with us today and live on our 400-acre farm forever.”

With all of the trials and tribulations that Corrin Grace went through, her love for humans never wavered – and her hopeful spirit was rewarded the day she went home with her forever family.
