Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm (closed 12pm – 1pm for lunch).
Walk-ins welcome every day from 8am – 10:30am and 1pm – 3pm.
Saturdays limited service from 8am-noon. Walk-ins welcome.
Are you looking for a knowledgeable, affordable vet? The AHS Howell Mill Wellness Clinic is among the city’s most affordable vet clinics and the premier animal hospital in Georgia. The Howell Mill Animal Wellness Clinic offers the same services as does your regular veterinarian, but you can be assured that your contribution to AHS goes directly to help fund this clinic and many other programs that we sponsor.
NEW SATURDAY HOURS
We are excited to announce the Howell Mill Animal Wellness Clinic’s new Saturday hours, beginning in 2013. Please read the information below carefully about our new Limited Services Saturdays:
LIMITED SERVICES SATURDAYS
Saturdays are dedicated to pets in general good health who are in need of basic check-ups and/or vaccines. If your pet is sick or injured we may have to refer you to another clinic on Saturdays or we may ask to reschedule your appointment for a Monday – Friday.
· Open 8am to 12 Noon
· No appointments necessary! We see everyone on a first come, first served basis on Saturdays
· We won’t be able to provide overnight monitoring of sick pets
· We won’t be able to perform procedures that require general anesthesia or x-rays
· Life-threatening emergencies should be taken to the nearest veterinary emergency or 24 hour care facility
WE KEEP IT AFFORDABLE: A VET FOR LESS
We offer a variety of services at AHS’s Wellness Clinic, including routine wellness care and vaccinations, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping, teeth cleaning, and heart worm prevention.
The Wellness Clinic is unlike other veterinary clinics because it is a full-service, fully-staffed pet hospital at the Atlanta Humane Society – the city’s most established and well-known animal welfare organization to have such a program!
